Voiceover Work

This type of voice work will always be my favorite, as it created my first professional opportunity way back in 1996 at Educational Management Group, a subsidiary of Simon-Schuster. I was selected to provide narration for their educational videos. This experience led to everything else I've done as a professional voice talent, including current e-learning narration for Agilant e-Learning, Anthem College, and Universal Technical Institute, as well as Global Video/Teachers Video voice and on-camera projects.

Creating the voice that greets clients and customers is challenging. It needs to be inviting, warm, and able to hold their interest while waiting for prompts. Let's face it, we're all frustrated with being put on hold, while being told that our call "is important". It is one of the 21st centuries major annoyances not to reach a live person. What I will try to do, is work with you to establish a message that conveys your organization's interest in the caller, not just a "leave a message at the beep" response. I've recorded messages for a variety of clients including The Deborah Maddox Agency, Mach 1 Freight, Re/Max Fine Properties, The Phoenix Film Festival Office, and a variety of small businesses and non-profit agencies.
