On-Camera DemoFeature WorkTHE CONTROLLER was my first opportunity to star in a feature film—it was exciting and rewarding to be involved in such a project and I plan on similar work in the future. Prior to The Controller, I was involved in several film shorts including The Netherbeast of Berm-Tech Industries Inc. and The Intervention of Brad. 'THE CONTROLLER: Armchair Combat Professionals' is named an "OFFICIAL SELECTION-Independent Feature Film" for KIDS FIRST! Film Festival 2008 KIDS FIRST! is the largest film festival of its kind in the world showcasing outstanding films for kids 2-18, reaching an audience greater than a half million annually. THE CONTROLLER was named an Official Selection Independent Feature Film ages 12-18. KIDS FIRST! is known as a Good Housekeeping type seal of approval for parents to evaluate media based upon a rating system based on age groups. This unique film festival ran from April 15 thru July 15, 2008 with screenings in more than 100 different venues nationwide. The Festival partnered with major media companies such as Universal Studios, Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount, Discovery Kids and Starz Entertainment . They give me the chance to portray an image that speaks to a company's target audience. I’ve enjoyed these undertakings in the past and look forward to more in the future. EducationalAs a parent, it is important to present educational topics maturely and responsibly to children. I feel confident that my previous educational projects have fulfilled that goal. I began my career doing volunteer work to help educate the blind and dyslexic, so I know that this type of work is especially rewarding. |
